About the event
Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) are learning based exercises that develop life skills. The Building Block Curriculum is designed to achieve specific objectives in each exercise. This means that every participant joins in as a team or on a individual bases to work through obstacles that are objective based. Each objective is a social skill
- Building Relationships
- Active Listening
- Negotiation
- Trust & Respect
- Problem Solving
- Finding Ones Value as Part of a Team
Participants will always find their own success in every session as the goal is not to complete the obstacles but to see their own and their teams small successes as a WIN WIN for everyone.
EAL is for everyone. The horses offer us an amazing opportunity to develop life skills from their point of view. Horses view their world with natural instinct based it off of LEADERSHIP and SAFETY as a herd. Horses always give us instant feedback, tell the truth and they are always non-judgmental. Horses have highly astute senses and cannot differentiate between class, race, or social status. It will never matter to them if a person is a boss, labor, passing or failing school, a bully or a victim. They merely EXPECT and RESPECT Teamwork. They look for you to be your own best leader! We welcome everyone to try our programs.
There is no riding in these session all skill are developed on the ground and with a team.
This session is designed for anyone over the age of 7 years old.
Exceptional Equine has several programs available please check out other scheduled events and programs to find what best suits your individual needs.
